TVCs Galore
There are so many large scale TV and movie productions happening in Sydney at the moment, that it’s easy to forget that the ‘bread and butter’ work of producing TV commerials, or TVCs as we know them, is still happening.
MCTV places hundreds of people on TVCs every year. Many are chosen for their unique qualities (such as a granny that can rollerskate) but very often they are required to be an everyday type of person – for example a Mum or Dad or officeworker. MCTV also supplies “crowds” for commercials that require a large number of people such as street scenes or sports grounds.
The work is short, but sweet, as the pay is usually good. Sometimes the ads have become famous in their own right, such as the annual Australia Day Lamb ads (above).
This month we have been submitting for the following campaigns Westfield, Optus, RAMS, Harmony Day, Bonds, Ola, Betfair, Sydney Water, NRL, AFL, Vodka Cruiser, Qantas and CBA. Best of luck to everyone who was submitted.
