Logies Return to Sydney
As The Logies, Aussie TV’s annual awards, returned to Sydney for the first time in 37 years, it was fitting that so many of the winners were Sydney productions.
‘Colin from Accounts‘ picked up Most Outstanding Actor and Actress for Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer and Most Outstanding Comedy Program.
Most Outstanding Supporting Actor went to Thomas Weatherall for ‘Heartbreak High’. ‘The Twelve‘ won Most Outstanding Supporting Actress for Brooke Satchwell’s performance and Sam Neill won Most Popular Actor for his work on the series. The show also won Most Outstanding Drama Series, Miniseries or Telemovie.
MCTV is proud to have provided talent to these fantastic shows. 56 people worked on ‘The Twelve’, 64 worked on ‘Colin from Accounts’ and 114 on ‘Heartbreak High’. Well done to everyone involved!
