‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ Trailer

‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, another major Hollywood movie filmed in Sydney, has released its trailer. However, unlike ‘Anyone but You‘ and ‘The Fall Guy‘, there aren’t any famous Sydney landmarks in this trailer.

The movie picks up after the last instalment from the franchise, ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’. Many years after the reign of Caesar, a young ape goes on a journey that will lead him to question everything he’s been taught about the past and make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

The movie was directed by Wes Ball and stars Freya Allen, Owen Teague, William H Macy, Eka Darville, Dichen Lachman, Sara Wiseman, Peter Macon and Kevin Durand.

Congratulations to the 8 MCTV members who worked on this unique production – looks great. The movie will be released in cinemas on 24 May 2024.
