Heartbreak High Rolling
We are very happy to announce that school is officially back in session at Hartley High. MCTV members have been submitted and are working on set for the Netflix reboot of the much-loved Australian young adult series, ‘Heartbreak High’. The eight-episode series, inspired by the original from the 1990s (which also featured MCTV talent) will make its global debut on Netflix in 2022.
Netflix has promised the new series will be as groundbreaking as the first, navigating teen themes in a raw and contemporary way. A discovery makes Amerie (Ayesha Madon) an instant pariah at Hartley High, and causes a mysterious and very public rift with her ride-or-die Harper (Asher Yasbincek). With her new friends – outsiders Quinni (Chloe Hayden)and Darren (James Majoos) – Amerie must repair her reputation, while navigating love, sex, and heartbreak.

Congratulations to everyone who has already been on set. More to come…
