Hundreds submitted for new LG commercial
/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Commercials /by SudsyAfter watching this recent LG Commercial with Jason Statham a few times I can see why they need lot’s of people for their productions. Loads of action and rich scenes feature in this ad, maybe there will be an Australian equivalent, let’s hope.
11 year old boy with rollovers from eBay commercial
/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Commercials /by SudsyA rollover is when a commercial is used for longer than the initial contract. Often, you get paid almost as much for the rollover as for the original commercial. Loads of our talent are lucky enough to earn rollovers but this one caught my eye. Imagine being 11 years old and already earning money this way. Good on you! Make sure you buy something nice.
Over a dozen MCTV talent on new McDonald’s Ad
/in TV Commercials /by SudsyWe’ve got some MCTV people who have been on more than one McDonald’s Ad. A few of them have even been lucky enough to have their whole family featured. We had loads of talent on this commercial from last year too. Can’t wait to see what the latest one is.
We also received some great feedback from the production company filming the McDonald’s commercial. They told us that they love MCTV extras as they are all the most professional extras and they always turn up. So, congratulations are in order for all of our extras and featured actors. It’s professionalism like this that is the reason MCTV gets more work than any other agency. It also gives our extras a great chance at getting upgraded or the whole production being rolled over for another term.

Submitting talent for new Oral B Commercial
/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, TV Commercials /by SudsyWe submitted a bunch of people last week for a new Oral B Commercial. If the new commercial is anything like this classic ad from 1984, they won’t show their face on TV. Listen to the silky smooth sound of John Laws as the voiceover.
Richard Roxburgh back to play Roger Rogerson
/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney /by SudsyWell it seems the secret is out! SMH has reported that Richard Roxburgh (Rake) will be playing Roger Rogerson in a new miniseries. We have been tight lipped about the production despite sending oodles of MCTV talent to sets around Sydney over the past weeks. Can’t wait to see this as we are all big fans of Roxburgh here at MCTV.
Much has been riding on the outcome of the Roger Rogerson and Glen McNamara murder trial, with Wednesday’s guilty verdict opening the way for a raft of books and films to make their way into the public domain.

MCTV’s best on go see for Jackie Chan’s new movie
/in Acting and Extras Work in Sydney, Feature Films /by SudsyIn case you hadn’t heard, Jackie Chan is filming his latest movie Bleeding Steel in Sydney. We’ve had loads of people in our offices today for a “Go See” for the new production. A “Go See” is a bit different from an audition. It’s normally not for any particular role, it’s just for the casting consultants to get a feel for the different talent and what roles they might be a fit for. The ones who are successful may be selected directly or asked to audition for specific roles. Getting to work with Jackie Chan on his new movie will be a buzz.
