A huge week last week organising 70 MCTV people to shoot a Bundy Rum commercial in 3 different locations across Sydney. Well done to everyone who was a part of it, you all turned up at the right time and place which is a huge challenge on these big jobs.
Production for A Place to Call Home Season 5 is about to start and a bunch of MCTV people have already been submitted with a large group moving on to go-see stage.
Last year we submitted people right the way through from February to July so there should be loads more opportunities as production continues.
Fans of the Australian period drama A PLACE TO CALL HOME will rejoice as Foxtel confirms a fifth season which will begin filming in February 2017.

How would you be! Paid to spend the day on a beautiful cruise ship on Sydney Harbour. That’s what some lucky MCTV people are doing today for Crystal Cruises. The most difficult part of the job is pretending to everyone they know that they went to “work” today.
A busy start to the year with MCTV Talent already shooting a bunch of commercials for well known brands. Looks like it’s going to be a great 2017.
People have been running for their lives in Brisbane as shooting resumes for Pacific Rim 2. Shooting has also resumed in Sydney with a number of MCTV people back on set for the production. Can’t wait to see Sydney and Brisbane transformed when the movie is finally released.

Action scenes in of the world’s biggest sci-fi action blockbusters, Pacific Rim 2 are being filmed in the middle of Brisbane’s CBD this weekend.
A classic film from the Australian outback that left Martin Scorsese ‘Speechless’ is being remade into a TV Drama. The original from 1971 was critically acclaimed and definitely worth a look. The remake has some big shoes to fill, but it’s not hard to see how this story could be updated for current audiences. Auditions have started so we’re looking forward to everyone’s best performances.
Well done to everyone who played a part in the new lamb campaign. MCTV is proud to have supplied talent to these ads which have already formed such a great Australian tradition.

Season 4 of Love Child will start shooting in Sydney really soon. We have just started submitting people for the latest season of this very popular show. If season 3 is any indication we will be sending people on set right the way through till April or May.
We’ve had a fantastic 2016 and are looking forward to a great start to 2017. Production will be starting for loads of new productions in the coming weeks. Have a look at our lineup for 2017.
