$12m for ‘Total Control’ Series 3 and more…
Screen Australia recently announced $12 million of production funding for locally made productions. Series 3 of ‘Total Control’ was one of the titles included in the funding announcement. This is great news as MCTV provided over 60 talented members to Series 1 and 2.
Three movies; ‘Addition’, ‘Little Bird’ and ‘Went up the Hill’ have also been funded. Locations have not been announced as yet.
Two TV series will also receive funding. ‘While the Men are Away’ is an 8 part historical dramedy for SBS set in 1940’s rural Australia. ‘North Shore’ is a six-part crime thriller set around Sydney Harbour, directed by Gregor Jordan (Two Hands) and with additional funding support from Screen NSW.
