‘6 Festivals’ to premiere at Sydney Film Festival
‘6 Festivals’ is set to have its worldwide premiere at the Sydney Film Festival on Friday night, before it streams on Paramount+ later this year.
The movie is the first Paramount+ film produced in Australia and was shot at real music festivals around the country. The movie was written and directed by Macario De Souza (‘Bra Boys’, ‘Fighting Fear’), and tells the story of three best friends as they attend six of their bucket-list music festivals while coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis.
A huge crew of Australian artists – among them G Flip, Dune Rats, Alison Wonderland, Bliss N Eso, Peking Duk, Ruby Fields and Jerome Farah – appear in the film or on the soundtrack.
At the time of writing there are still tickets for tomorrow’s premiere, otherwise there are limited screenings over the weekend.
Huge congratulations to the 20 MCTV members who worked on this one, well done.
